Senokot Syrup is an effective over-the-counter treatment for occasional constipation, offering gentle and predictable results. Prepared from natural Senna, this fast-acting syrup works in 8-12 hours, aiding digestion and promoting regular bowel movements. Suitable for adults and children over 12 years old, it's an easy-to-measure, gluten-free solution for those experiencing digestive discomfort.
How to use
- Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor. If you are self-treating, follow all directions on the product package. If you are uncertain about any of the information, ask your doctor or pharmacist. It is recommended to take this medication at bedtime with a full glass of water. Swallow this medication whole. Do not chew or crush. Doing so can release all of the drug at once, increasing the risk of side effects. Dosage is based on your age, medical condition, and response to treatment. Do not increase your dose or take it more frequently than directed. This medication may cause a condition known as laxative dependence if used regularly for a long time. Most people can taper and stop this medication when the condition prompting its use has been resolved. Do not exceed the recommended dose or use this medication for more than 7 days unless directed by your doctor. Failure to follow these directions may result in serious harm.

- Senokot Syrup Sennosides may cause abdominal pain or cramps, diarrhea, nausea, and dehydration if overused. It should not be taken for more than a week without seeking medical advice. Overuse or extended use can lead to dependency or loss of normal bowel function. Those with digestive conditions, pregnant or breastfeeding women, and those taking heart medications should consult with a doctor before use. Keep out of reach of children.
