Orajel Dental Gel brings fast, targeted relief from toothache, applying a numbing gel directly where it hurts within minutes, buying comfort until you can see a dentist.
How it works
Benzocaine is a local anaesthetic that temporarily numbs the nerve endings in the painful area, easing toothache on contact.
How to use
Adults and children over 12, apply a small amount to the affected area up to 4 times daily. Wash hands before and after.
Active ingredient
Contains benzocaine 10%. Full ingredient list in the patient information leaflet.
Side effects
Occasional temporary stinging or irritation at the site. Rarely, allergic reactions to benzocaine. A full list of possible side effects is in the patient information leaflet supplied with the medicine.
Cautions
This relieves pain but does not treat the cause, so see a dentist about persistent toothache. Not for children under 12. Do not use for teething. If swelling of the face or gum develops, seek dental or medical care promptly. Always read the label.
