How to use
- Unwrap the razor: Carefully remove your Gillette Fusion Power Razor from its packaging. Handle it with care, as the blades are very sharp.
- Attach the blade cartridge: Attach a blade cartridge to the handle of the razor. The Fusion series should come with one or two cartridges, but replacement blades can be bought separately.
- Wet your face: Thoroughly wet your face with warm water, this will help to soften your facial hair and provide a closer, more comfortable shave.
- Apply shaving cream: Apply a thin layer of shaving cream or gel to your face. Any brand will work but using Gillette shaving cream or gel could offer optimum results.
- Start shaving: Turn on your Fusion Power Razor by pushing the power button on the handle. The razor will vibrate gently - this is normal and helps to stimulate hair follicles for an easier shave.
- Shave with the grain: Begin shaving by gliding the razor down your face in the direction of hair growth. This is usually 'downwards' on cheeks and 'upwards' on the neck.
- Rinelyour razor often: Rinse your blade often under hot water, this will help to unclog any hair or shaving cream trapped between the blades.
- Use Precision Trimmer: For hard-to-reach areas like under the nose or sideburn shaping, use the Precision Trimmer on the back of the blade.
- Rinse your face: After shaving, rinse your face with cold water. Cold water helps to close your pores and reduce post-shave irritation.
- Dry and Store Razor: After use, rinse your razor under hot water, shake off any excess, and store it in a cool, dry place.
- Remember, for optimal shaving performance, replace your blade when you start experiencing uncomfortable pulling. On average, the blade should last around one month if you shave four times a week.
