How to use
- Begin by washing your hands thoroughly before using the Canesten Thrush Internal Cream.
- Remove the applicator from the packaging and screw the plunger into the applicator.
- Unscrew the cap from the tube of cream. Then, attach the applicator to the tube by screwing it on.
- Squeeze the tube slowly from the bottom to fill the applicator with the cream until the plunger reaches the stop.
- Unscrew the filled applicator from the tube and replace the cap on the tube.
- Insert the applicator as deep as is comfortable into the vagina, preferably lying on your back with your knees drawn up, and slowly push the plunger in until it stops. This will release the cream into your vagina.
- Dispose the applicator safely after use.
- This should be used once daily, preferably before going to bed at night for convenient and comfortable treatment.
- Remember, always use as directed by your healthcare provider. If your symptoms don't clear up within 7 days, please contact your doctor.

- If you experience an allergic reaction, such as rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, or trouble breathing, seek medical help immediately.
- Avoid contact with eyes. If accidental exposure occurs, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Do not use this medication for self-treatment if you are pregnant, plan to get pregnant, or are breastfeeding, without first consulting a doctor.
- Stop using the cream and consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve within seven days.
- Avoid sexual intercourse while using this medication as it could worsen the condition or infect your partner.
- Do not use the medication more often or for a longer period than prescribed by a doctor.
- Not suitable for use by those under 16 or over 60.
- Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- Do not use if allergic to any of the ingredients.
- Avoid contact with eyes and other sensitive areas.
- Do not use for more than 7 days without consulting a doctor.
- It may cause irritation or burning sensation; discontinue use if severe.
- Does not prevent sexually transmitted diseases.
- Consult a healthcare provider if symptoms do not improve within 7 days.
